Web alarm clock for 5:50 a.m.

While preparing to receive the milkfish from the fish pens, you can set the alarm for 5:50 am before the banca reaches the landing area. That gives you a clear cue to check the tubs, ice, weighing space, and helpers ahead of the 6:00 am handover, instead of watching the clock while arranging everything.

Because the milkfish arrival leaves little room to troubleshoot a missed cue, test the alarm sound now, while preparations are still under way. Keep the volume high enough to carry across the landing area and choose a tone you can recognise over voices, water, and an idling motor. Leave the browser alarm running and keep your phone awake; if the page is closed or the phone sleeps, the milkfish reminder may not sound when the catch comes ashore.

Before handling the milkfish this early, have water nearby and eat something light if you have not had breakfast. Pandesal, a banana, or a small bowl of lugaw is easier to finish before your hands are occupied with wet containers and ice. Save a full rice meal and a very hot drink until the receiving work is finished, so neither needs attention during the busy few minutes around 5:50 am.
