Web alarm clock for 6:20 p.m.

You have just woken up at 6:20 pm, and the earthquake preparedness drill has not started yet. Use the next few minutes to get fully alert, check the planned route, and gather the people taking part. Setting the alarm for 7:00 pm gives you a clear starting point without rushing through the instructions.

Your earthquake preparedness drill needs an alarm everyone responsible can actually hear. Before relying on this browser alarm, check whether your earphones or Bluetooth headset are still connected, since the sound may go there without you noticing. Run a quick sound check and leave the page open with the phone awake. If the browser closes or the phone sleeps, the earthquake preparedness drill alert will not sound, so keep a separate phone alarm as a fallback.

Because you are preparing for an evening earthquake preparedness drill after waking late, choose a light snack rather than a heavy Filipino supper beforehand. Water and a banana, pandesal, or a small portion of rice can fit into the 40 minutes before 7:00 pm without taking over your preparation. Leave a larger meal and very hot drinks until the drill is finished, so your hands stay free while you check exits and practise the response.
