Web alarm clock for 7:04 a.m.

As you finish getting ready and head out for the quarterly barangay tanod formation, set the alarm for 7:04 am so leaving does not blur into one more task at home. The ring marks the moment to stop what you are doing, check that you have what you need, and go. You will still be well ahead of 8:00 am, leaving some room for the walk or ride to the assembly point.

Because you are about to leave, keep the alarm page open while you make your final preparations. Closing its tab or the browser can prevent the alarm from sounding, which could make you late for the barangay tanod formation. If the phone locks or goes to sleep, the alert may also fail. Keep the phone awake, leave the browser visible, raise the volume, and check that silent mode will not suppress the sound.

Before an early barangay tanod formation, choose something quick that will not delay your departure: water and a light breakfast such as pandesal, fruit, or a boiled egg fit easily into the morning. Save a full rice meal or a hot drink that needs time to finish until afterward if you are already dressed and preparing to go.
